I have a MBP (mid 2012) 15 inch Retina that won’t be upgradeable to macOS Big Sur. Is it possible to replace the logic board from a MBP (2015) 15 inch Retina.

Sorry no, just not possible. The 2012 uses a different SSD and display than the 2015 so you would need to also swap that out which would be more expensive than just finding a used 2015 system.
