Can anyone tell me how hard it is to replace the front struts on a Subaru? I own a 2003 Legacy Wagon and though I have fixed the shocks on other cars, this is my first time to face changing the struts. I am wondering if there are any handy tricks or special tools that I might need. If you have done this then your help would be appreciated. Thanks

It’s not very hard but you’ll need to have a strut spring compressor. You can get something like one of these http://topautotools.com/strut-spring-com… do it all yourself pretty easily. Shouldn’t take more than a couple of hours if you have everything you need.

I don’t know exactly how hard it is, but every time I have problems with my car I go to a Youtube channel called Crisfix, and this video explains how to do it and what you may need https://youtu.be/cI3EDqzOghc
