I broke the digitizer and LCD on my S7. I was able to get another phone and transfer my account to it. However, there were some apps that I lost data from and I lost my home screens. I kept my phone charged until I could order a replacement screen assembly. Before I replaced the screen assembly, I used the recovery menu to turn the phone off. I was able to replace new screen/digitizer assembly and put the phone back together. When I power the phone on now, it goes into the initialization screen and says something about an abnormal factory reset and wants me to sign in to a WIFI network. Is there anyway to recover the data on the phone?
What’s up, Bill? Have you tried signing in, via Wifi, to see whether you would be able to recover your data?
