Hello, Replaced my battery, and now machine will not power up. No fan or any activity, even when plugged into charger. Original battery was very swollen, so much so that case started to deform and pop open. Could that have damaged something? Thanks
Its possible the events was the other way around where the charging logic allowed the battery to over charge! Which in turn caused the battery to swell up. Now once the battery failed the charging logic on the logic board shorted out and/or the pressure damaged something. Apple did have a recall on the 13” Fn system due to a battery issue. Did you select the wrong system here? You do have a 13” Touch Bar system correct?
