the battery connector broke off my ipod 5g logic board (1763-A 32mb). instead of soldering it back on, im entertaining the idea of upgrading my iPod altogether and replacing the logic board with a 820-1975-A 64mb logic board. would this work seamlessly with all my 5th gen parts? i also was thinking about getting a 820-1763-A 64mb board instead, as this would be cheaper, and I’m not sure if the 1974-A board has any definite improvements other than the search function.
You do need to stick within the given series, but yes you can swap out the logic board with the larger storage.
