Your facing the dreaded dedicated GPU failure of this series! You’ll need to turn off your AMD Radeon GPU and just live with your built-in Intel Iris graphics engine. Download this app gfxCardStatus set it to intergraded graphics and turn off Automatic Graphics Switching within your Energy Saver settings control panel. That should fix things as best as you can. If you really need the better GPU services you’ll want to upgrade your logic board to a 2012 model which has a NVIDIA GPU which runs much better! And you’ll want to install a good thermal management app like TG Pro which you can press the fans to a higher RPM when things get hot.
