Chosen Solution
Ok so I was replacing a screen on an iPhone 8 Plus and I know the drill always know where the screws go so they go back in the correct place. But… I took a break while I had to go to work and while I was gone my nephew thought he could help with no experience at all. Not to mention that I believe some of my screws are missing. I’m already ordering a replacement set of all the screws that go in the phone but now I need a diagram breakdown of which screw go where with the size and position of all the screws. If there is anyone out there that has a link to such a diagram or even an appropriate YouTube video that goes into that much detail it would be greatly appreciated. thanks to all who respond. your fellow techie IAMCORNHOLIEO
Your best bet will be to follow the ifixit guide and I speak from experience. I’ve had lots of customers bring their devices to me in plastic baggies with all of the screws mixed together.
