Because of a fall the cover of the wifi antenna of my Macbook Air 13” modell A1466 was damaged and obviously also caused a partial damage of the antenna itself. Only when being close to my wifi router wifi is working fine. It looks like some part of the antenna is not working anymore. If possible, I want to avoid to dismount the whole lid and to install a new antenna. Is it possible without dismounting of the lid to just remove the cover of the wifi antenna to check whether the wifi antenne could be repaired by some soldering? Thanks ahead of time for your support.
