Hello . i have a Samsung Galaxy S7 edge and the glass is broken. I have successfully separated the lcd from the glass and now i want to remove the Loca from LCD panel (the lcd is ok with no bead dots or dead lines). I was searching a lot in the INTERNET and the only safe product i found was the 9666 loca remover. I cannot buy it because of the expensive shipping cost. Can i remove the glue with another way ? It is safe to use isopropyl alcohol up to 95% ? I have one 99,5% . Has anyone inside here any experience of that? I am also afraid for the long term results. I am meaning… i want to avoid yellow lines on the screens or something wrong with the polarization of the phone. Thanks a lot :)
while i was doing lens replacements, i found the best stuff to use was the “LOCA remover” you mentioned. it broke down and dried up the LOCA without damaging the LCD at all. however, as i became a samsung warranty technician as the GS5 was released, i was not allowed, under contract, to do lens replacements anymore, so i have not had the luxury of experiencing the LOCA used for anything above that. I can not say for 100% what will work best on that specific device.
