Just wondering the best way to remove the heat shields. The phone is already water damaged, and am trying to recover data. Tried a fine tip soldering iron, but didn’t have much luck. I saw in the teardown that they removed them was wondering what process they used.
A hot air rework station is used to remove the EMI shields on the logic board.
