Hello, I bought an new battery from iFixit (MacBook Air 13" (Mid 2012 through Early 2015) Battery, New Product code: EU188086-1). While unboxing, I saw that there are four plastic foils on it. I tried to remove them carefully but they are glueing very hard. So, do I have to remove them or is it better to put the battery in with the foils on it? Thank u all! Jan
If it doesn’t hinder your ability to use the battery normally then just leave them on. There is no benefit/disadvantage for removing the screens.
