Hey i am trying to make glass only repair. so when I will separate glass from the LCD can i use hydrogen peroxide instead of isopropyl alcohol 99% to clean the LCD from adhesive. if not what can i use besides ISOPROPYL
Hydrogen peroxide is an oxidizer which cleans wounds via the oxygen within it. It’s has not true solvent characteristics. Isopropyl alcohol is a solvent in as such it can dissolve common oils & soaps. The percentage of alcohol the bottle has then gets into its effectiveness. Isopropyl alcohol isn’t always the best solvent for the job. You need to review the spec sheet for the glue to see what it states as a solvent for it.
