Hi, I have an iPad Pro 12.9 2nd Gen with a battery that is having problems. I am wondering if this iPad Pro has the same battery removal adhesive as the first gen iPad Pro. My iPad is just outside the warrenty and want to contact apple first to see what they can do because they claim on their website that there is a 100$ Out of warranty battery replacement i could pay and am considering greatly.
For $100, Id get Apple to replace it. There is a lot of risk for you or any repair shop while removing the LCD. I know a few that have had to eat the cost of a new LCD, because they accidentally shattered the glass when removing it. If you havent looked up the cost on those, it’s quite expensive.
