Is there an easy way to reinstall windows and android on the Chuwi Vi 10 32gb?
Yes. I had trouble finding the exact files that were right for my tablet, but in the end I found them! This post helped me fix the Android partition: http://techtablets.com/forum/topic/touch… Then to reinstall windows simply create a bootable USB drive using Microsoft’s media creation tool and install windows as you would on any other computer. Install it on the only unallocated partition left after you re-flashed Android. Good luck!
I had this happen with my onda V820W when I tried to make it dual boot but that ended up a semi brick since I didn’t flash the easy vol+ os switch bios update. But I did delete all the recovery partition on my other one and 8.1 installed fine (it was the 8.1 with bing) from a USB. Make sure there is a bios option to boot into windows (either by vol+ or if need goes into the bios and set windows as the only os) then try it. Also make sure the USB stick is formatted as GPT for UEFI (if you use rufus, this is an option, but the windows media creation tool does make it boot like this too) Regards, Lewis
