My UN65KS8000FXZA 4k Samsung TV is just over 3 years old, and is suddenly showing a red tint. It doesn’t cover the entire screen, but leaves a border around the edge that seems intact. It is a lot more prominent during dark scenes, but it is always present. I’ve attached a couple of photos. I have tried messing around with the display settings, but it seems like it’s a hardware problem. Is this fixable and if so, is it something that can be done at home?
@alimo If it would be the Gamma IC on your T-con board then the tint should be all over the screen and no show a boarder. I conclude this to be a backlight array issue and you have the “frame” around it because of the way the LED’s are directed.
