I had my LCD screen fixed a few months ago and I tend to drop my phone a lot. So i had my phone and it was working perfectly fine and then i shut it off completely then i turned to back on later and the white screen with the apple logo came on then it went red and then faded and I did a hard reset multiple times but it just keeps doing the same thing.

I’ve seen this occur a few times when I’ve replaced batteries in the phones where the battery was defective on arrival. Addition, I’ve seen this happen when cables were partially connected. Sounds like a cable might be disconnected inside just a little bit, or your battery is failing. Have you had this phone repaired recently?

I had the same issue with a phone I was repairing once. Phone was working post-repair, but the customer let the phone die and got a repeated boot loop/red screen after plugging it into the charger. There was severe damage to the upper portion of the screen assembly, which had caused damage to the proximity and ambient sound sensor. We had originally replaced this component along with the screen. Replaced the proximity/front facing camera flex cable and the phone worked fine; apparently it was a defective replacement part. If this doesn’t fix it, putting screws in the wrong positions on the screen assembly ribbon cable shield can also cause boot loops (it caused logic board damage). The critical screw that can cause damage to the board is the bottom right screw on the screen assembly ribbon cable shield. If overtightened or mixed up with another screw, it can/will (I’ve done it once) damage the board. Another helpful hint is that the top right screw on the same shield should be non-magnetic. You will have a difficult time getting the screw to stay on the end of a magnetic screwdriver. Best advice is to keep the screws organized: weekly pill organizers with the tops removed work great, or a magnetic parts organizer that you can write on with a dry erase. Replacement of most embedded components requires some level of skilled labor. Disassembling a device may void or limit the manufacturer’s warranty. Any advice provided are to assist in the end user repair of their device. Improper or inexperienced repair can lead to damage to device or injury to user.
