iPhone 6 Plus -will not power on after water damage. Steps tried. Drying display connectors both from display and at logic board. connected to power via USB lightning charger and it will not power on. Is there a way to pull data of of this device with out using itunes and for free? -Thanks
No, you will need to find a way to power up the device and connect it to iTunes or iCloud. It is not possible to decrypt the files without the key derived from the CPU UID and your passcode, so extracting the files from a dead board is not possible whatsoever. And I predict there will be spammers promoting “data recovery” tools that are useless.
