Chosen Solution
I accidently factory reset my firestick and now I’m trying to set it back up but the I cant seem to get past the 1st step. It asks me to point my remote to the TV to pair(I dont have a remote anymore so I’m using fire TV app) the app wont connect. The app it self is searching for a fire app and cant find it…. what do I do!!!!
You need to borrow another Fire Stick remote or buy a new one.
