Hi, I have a MacBook Pro (Retina, 15-inch, Late 2013) Recently the Wi-Fi has stopped working, however the Bluetooth works fine. I initially suspected the Airport card and replaced that, but the issue still persists. I’ve tried reseating the I/O cable without any luck. Would replacing the cable help ? My I/O boards USB, HDMI and SD card reader all work fine. I thought the WiFi/Airport card connect directly to the logic board. @danj
Yes the physical connector for the AirPort board is on the main logic board! But the signal pathing can be different. It all depends on what the signal is, Here we are looking at PP3V3 which is the power rail for the board. So you’ll need to get a DVM and carefully measure the two points at the connector Pin 1 & 18 and shell (ground)
If both are present then replacing the cable won’t alter things. Before you did anything what what happened? Maybe that can give us a clue.
