Reassembly no guide for proper adhesive placement for the battery. The iFixit guide is excellent however there are no instructions on proper placement for the adhesive strip for the battery. The adhesive blue strip is not either or meaning there is a certain way it goes on however, there are no instructions on this. That I can find for that or that I can find easily. Just the tear-downs. Putting it back together does look straight forward and I know it’s just an adhesive strip that probably would work upside down but I am particular and want to do this the correct way. Perhaps I am overlooking on the site an area for proper placement for adhesive strips.
Bruce. re-check the battery replacement guide. It is covered. There are two options for putting adhesive onto Cover or Battery. Just confirm with the guide WHICH method of attachment your phone had. My issue was the new battery cable doesn’t fit into the old receiver. …..still awaiting an answer.
