Chosen Solution

Hey guys, I recently recieved a battle-scarred iPhone 6 from a friend, who told me that if I could fix it, it’s mine. Well, as the title says, the phone connects to iTunes, yet I still have a black screen. I immediately went for a screen replacement. I connected the digitizer and data ribbon cables, yet no cigar. I’m back at square one. The display is a working display. Is there anything else that could cause this? The phone works, but I wonder what could be causing the blank screen. The phone was able to boot into recovery mode, and also DFU mode, both of which my computer detected. Thanks in advance. Edit: I should add that the rear camera’s ribbon cables is not in good condition, and the home button’s ribbon cable is gone.

I’ve confirmed it’s long screw damage
