Chosen Solution
After trying the numerous different possible solutions I have found on the interwebs, I have not been able to solve this problem. After inserting a fully charged, known good battery into the camera, after hitting the power button all I seem to get is a flashing red light on the back of the camera. As mentioned, I have tried all the different hocus pocus solutions I have been able to find but to no avail. Any ideas before I send it in for repair? Thanks, Keith
Hello keith, i had this problem once before on my first hero 3 BE. i eventually had to send it in to repair for overheating. But, once thing that seemed to work for a little bit, i put it in dry rice, in the freezer for a couple days, only meant to be overnight but i got distracted. i also used Wasabi brand batteries and that may have been an issue as well, i never had any luck with gopro batteries before.
