I’m about to replace the rear glass on my iPhone 11 Pro and I’ve managed to find a 3M gasket on eBay but would like to know if the B6000/7000 glue is a better product and should I use it over the gasket? Thanks in advance New user Mark
Both should work fine the 3M Back plate tape will be easier. If you have never tried changing back glass on a iPhone it is not easy unless you are using a laser. most videos show the use of liquid nitrogen or extreme heat. It is a very time consuming process due to the strong glue used by Apple.
I’ve used the B7000 and T7000 for years with no issue… the 3m is inferior with my experience and recently changed to the Mechanic Cold Press Glue and didn’t notice any difference other than quicker cure times under clamps.
