Hello, I recently replaced the rear camera on my iphone X with no success. When I open up the camera app all I get is a black screen. When I reinstall the old camera I had the camera boots ups and works with the camera app (although blurry due to damage). Any ideas what might be going on. Also the flashlight doesnt work with either camera. I have attempted soft reset and changing some setting in the camera setting with no success.
Probably just a bad camera unit then, send the faulty camera back to the supplier and get a new one. The flash doesn’t work if if the camera is broken so when you get a good camera installed the flash will also work again, unless it’s actually broken of course but that’s not very likely.
