Hello community I dropped my iPhone 5s and the rear camera stopped working it says flash will work again when the phone cools down -Dropped my Phone -My battery is overheating and phone gets very very hot to the point that I can’t hold it in my hand Thanks! You guys are really helful Btw front camera works it’s the rear I tried to reset my phone thought it was a software issue.
Screen been replaced before? Try opening up the phone and reseating the rear camera connector. The rear camera can be come unplugged if the screws and/or metal plate covering the screen cables and rear camera are missing which happens a lot after screen replacements as some people leave them out or forgot to put them back in. iPhone 5s Rear Facing Camera Replacement
