I completed a battery replacement on an iPhone 7 today, but the rear camera does not work and a black screen only shows. Any steps to possibly fix this or is replacing the whole module the best bet? It’d be nice to not have to spend $55 for the camera. Thanks!
Hey Alex! If it worked prior to repair, it is either a loose connection, or it was damaged during disassembly. I would disassemble, inspect connector for any debris, and ensure it is properly connected. If so, it may need replacement.
