The rear camera and flashlight are not working on my iphone 7. I replaced the camera to see if that was the issue. However even with new camera the problem persist. the phone was dropped and the screen cracked. If it is plugged in properly and I know the camera is good, does that mean it is possibly a motherboard problem? i have done complete reboot/reset/firmware update. any thoughts?
More than likely it’s a logic board issue. I have seen this happen after drops. Im not sure exactly what chip controls the camera and flash, but I do know it will require micro soldering.
One of the boards are probably fried, did you per chance drop it in any water? It could also be a problem with the cables inside from a big drop if not that. (If its the board then you will have to micro solder it)
If it’s the board, would that possibly be a chip that was knocked loose? Or a filter/fuse fried?…also the digitizer water indicator is red, but the rest in the phone are still white
