it was working fine when I had brought it home yesterday, but that’s probably because the man who was giving it away said the light would blink once and not turn on, I think it might have “reset” between his house and mine. I was watching a show just fine had no issue until I noticed that this black screen was not part of the show I was watching. I can still hear when I play a YouTube video from my phone to the Apple TV but I think even the Apple TV knows the screen isn’t working because this is the first time I’ve seen the Apple TV play video on my phone and sound on the tv like as if I was casting to an audio source and not an audio/video source. Help?

@afrenchfrey start off by removing all input sources. Then remove the power cord. Hold the power on button down for about 30-60 seconds. then plug the Tv back in and only connect one (1) input source. For now try to stay away from anything like APPLE TV etc and use a local source only. Something like a DVD player etc. Let us know what you get. Not getting video but having sound can be caused by a bad main board, bad t-con board or a bad panel (unlikely). Update (07/07/2019) Post some pictures of your boards etc., with your question. also, if you can, include a picture of the label on your LCD panel. Some white screens can be caused by a failed MOSFET on the T-con board.Adding images to an existing question
