Chosen Solution
I replaced my starter and also solenoid and I still have rapid clicking while trying to start my cub cadet xt1. All terminals are clean and tight. Any suggestions on what else I can check.
So that clicking is from the starter solenoid Since the cables are fine and you replaced the starter, all I can think of is the battery. If you have a voltage meter, check to see if the battery is at 12.6. If it’s not, let it charge overnight and try starting the mower again
