After replacing display there are many odd random actions occuring. Ie.. I open YouTube and the fifth video on screen starts playing and soon after starts skipping to next video repeatedly. But YouTube music doesn’t do this. Telegram messaging randomly switch to different conversations. But Hangouts messaging does not. I couldn’t even type this up in the browser because it will repeatedly delete the message but for some reason it’s kind of working in Google keep, it’s just randomly selecting text making it difficult. It also randomly pasted my clipboard a few times. It seems to be getting worse. After swapping the display it was just the YouTube issue. Yes I fallowed the instructions to the T. Made sure to separate the battery connector before unplugging the display. Is it possible my display is faulty or damaged? My iPad is barely usable now
This sounds like a logic board issue, not a screen issue. What happened to the Pad that you had to replace the display?
Did you get your screen from iFixit? It should be working 100% perfectly if so, contact iFixit customer support and request a new screen if it’s not working right. If not, there’s a 90% chance it is faulty because getting a new screen elsewhere is a roll of the dice. I suggest you order a new one from iFixit, and watch this guide for installation.
