Getting random restarts and random kernel errors like: mdworker, imklaunchangent, AssetCacheLocato, to UNKOWN and among others. I did a fresh install quite a few times but same results. I’ve also tried removing one SO-DMM , then the other, different drives, different RAM and essentially it still restarts with random Kernel errors. Mac Mini mid 2010, 16GB memory , 250GB SSD, macOS High Sierra Any suggestions?

RAM is becoming a bigger issue these days as people often put in faster RAM than what Apple spec’ed for the system thinking they would get more performance. The problem is the speed of the write and access (Strobe) of the data going in and out also needs to be considered besides the JDEC spec: 204-pin PC3-8500 (1066 MHz) DDR3 SO-DIMM. This is the Row Access Strobe (RAS) and Column Access Strobe (CAS). So make sure to use the correct SO-DIMM’s not too slow and not to fast!
