Computer randomly goes into hibernate whenever on battery or AC power. Sorry ;-{ mmm…. So its clear we don’t have a power issue here at the battery or charger. I had hoped it was something at this level as that only leaves a deeper logic board issue with the CPU’s VRM’s and/or SMC logic and its sensors. I would run the onboard diagnostics to see if anything pops up there. Restart your system and press the D key to enter. I would also install TG Pro as well as see if it see’s any issue with the sensors. Beyond that you’ll need to inspect the logic board (both sides) for corrosion damage or damaged components. If you don’t seen anything you will need to find someone who has the deeper skills to fix your logic board or you could just replace it. Reference: Mac startup key combinations
