I want to upgrade my mac’s ram and io. Can I replace the logic board with later version like 2017 macbook air 11?

You can’t upgrade the board to a 2017 in that machine. Unfortunately just about everything is soldered to the board in your model and would cost more to upgrade, if it’s possible, compared to just buying a used upgraded version of what you already have.

The SSD is socketed so you can put in a larger one but the drives I/O in this series is limited to mSATA. Sadly, RAM is soldered to the logic board so you would need to swap out the logic board if you have a 2 GB and the only other option is a 4 GB board. As for swapping out the logic board to a newer version, Apple altered too many things to make that possible. I agree with Jesse ( @hootonberg ) you would be better off getting a newer model on the used market.
