My iPad was working perfectly except for the fact that the screen was cracked. I then proceeded to beat by a digitizer since the LCD seem to be working perfectly. I then removed the LCD and the digitizer at the same time. I then installed in the correct order. After turni my iPad was working perfectly except for the fact that the screen was cracked. I then installed in the correct nag the iPad back on there is a rainbow colors all over the screen. Is there anyway to get my iPad back to normal or should I just consider the LCD crap and broken ?
It sounds like the LCD was damaged during the repair. It can be a challenge to separate the digitizer from the device without damaging the LCD. If a person inserts their tools to far and applies too much pressure to the LCD while trying to remove the digitizer it will usually get damaged, or if the tool is too thick and inserted to far it may also put too much pressure on the LCD. Your description of the screen signals a damaged LCD which will need replaced. Hope this helps.
