Chosen Solution
I’ve replaced the screen on my 6S Plus once already, and unfortunately I have to do it again. The 1st time, I used an iFixit replacement screen, because it had all of the small items attached, and it seemed like a better deal than the LCD + digitizer Pro screen. But…if I pay the extra money and spend the extra time to install the Pro screen, will I see or experience a noticeable improvement in still/moving images? Are there other advantages to the Pro screen? The iFixit description doesn’t really describe and qualitative differences, so if anyone out there can answer this question, I’d really appreciate it. It’s pretty easy to transfer the small parts like the front camera and ear speaker to a new display. If I were you, I would spend the couple extra bucks to get the original LCD. While there are good quality aftermarket displays out there, they still don’t quite compare to the original as far as color but it’s hard to notice unless you’ve got them side by side.
