Kenmore 587.14412400 serial # KHO4001907 I have cleaned into the pump. It was nasty. It works but not full strength. Any help anyone can give I would appreciate it.
It sounds like the pump may have a damaged impeller or pump housing is damaged. The pump housing and/or the seals could also deteriorate or become damaged, causing the dishwasher to leak. Usually this means the pump and motor need to be replaced.
