Similar situation: new pump installed. Run any cycle and a small amount of water shoots in then the pump runs 10 + minutes until it codes out F2. Drain line is clear. Tied to pressure sensor? Pressure tube appears to enter back of washer. Can it clog?
a_riddle1 you did not tell us if you replaced the pump for the same reason. With a normal F/02 error code for long drain you should get a “Sud” error after 4 minutes and then the F/02 error after 8 minutes. If yours goes right to a F/02 I would take a look at the control unit. The pressure switch is always a posibility. Download the service manual for your washer fro the bottom of this page Kenmore Elite HE3 Washing Machine Repair and run the diagnostics. The same manual will tell you about the pressure switch and how to test it on page 40. Let us know what you find out.
