psp battery question I called ifixit phone number, and left message and they ignored it. 3.7v 1800 ma I have psp-1001 according to the internet, psp-1001 was sold in USA, psp-1000 was sold in Japan. I pulled out the expanded Sony battery and it is 3.6v 1200 ma Is this close enough to be the same?
Lithium ion battery voltage is mostly irrelevant. It is actually a floating range between 3.3 and around 4.2V, depending on how charged it is. 1200mAh is actually for the PSP slim, original 1000 series use the 1800mAh battery.
