Chosen Solution In an attempt to clean my PS4, I accidentally pulled out the PSU connector to the motherboard. I can see one of the legs has a piece of MB come out along with it and being aware of some of the answers here for similar problem, I need to understand how the jumper wire would be laid down on the MB. Chosen Solution I have fitted a replacement screen to my Samsung J3 2016, although the Home Button seems loose and moves quite a bit. It still works but is quite annoying. Is there something I have missed? As when I removed the broken screen it seemed to just sit on the back of the glass panel. Usually this is caused when the screen doesn’t sit fully down. when you run into this problem it could either be the adhesive used (adhesive that comes on/with screens usually isn’t very good to use) or there could be tiny shards of glass if the frame wasn’t cleaned properly or the old adhesive could still be on the frame giving an extra layer so the screen doesn’t sit straight to the frame....

Now I’ve ran into a problem, I noticed that the Red Power Light continuously keeps blinking, I’ve started reading about it alot and I noticed people talk about broken capacitors, I opened the backside of the TV and went to take a close look to each individual capacitors on the first sight there is nothing wrong with them I don’t see any damaged capacitors nor blown up/leakening....

Right now at the shop I have a white iPad mini that was cracked and needed to be repaired. I had two different white digitizer replacement screens so I proceeded with the repair. (assuming if one was defective I could just use the other) I did the whole replacement, no mistakes....
Chosen Solution I’ve attached a photo below to this post of the screen of an iPhone 5s. The touch screen is unresponsive and there are some weird lines on the bottom as well. Any idea on how to fix this issue? If the screen shows any kind of lines, glitching, or anything, its the LCD. Chosen Solution I have a Macbook Pro Retina Mid 2012 and I replaced the battery. After putting everything back together and verifying all items were plugged back in I charged the laptop backup. Upon pressing the power button, I get no chimes, and no screen. Its just black. The fans do start when the power button is pressed, the Caps Lock does work on the laptop as well. I dont have an external screen to test with so that makes it hard....

This way I can have the screen in the dashboard in the main unit further down, possibly in the glove box. Chosen Solution I have a 402MA laptop, running windows 10 with an Intel Graphics Card. I am trying to setup a 2nd external monitor. I have a Dell monitor that is detected and runs and automatically, connected by HDMI, and the other is LG that is detected connected by VGA. But in the display properties, it is grayed out and I cannot enable it, nor change any of its properties or have it selected....
Chosen Solution Model 60J6200 possibly back lighting problem. When a white or light screen there are shadow or darker areas. Does not show on darker screens. Almost looks like lights out behind screen. @oldasmold it is possible that this is a backlight issue but I doubt that the backlight is totally out. It is possible that you have failed LED’s etc., but a completely off backlight would be far more noticeable than what you describe....

After this upgrade the phone display started going on and off every 10 seconds. Then I power it off, since then I could not restart the phone. The phone is dead! Thank Robson Robson, take a look at the rubber pad under the Dpad. It is very possible that your Dpad is not making any contact with the logic board.not making anymore contacts with your Dpad....
Chosen Solution Hi there, I’ve changed the screen and battery of my note 5 and now, while charging, the phone doesn’t wake up but stay frozen on the battery symbol, even after the whole night plugged. Now I’ve just tested to put the older battery in place but the same symbol of a battery not showing it’s charging is still here. Is there any security ? It’s a T-mobile model. Chosen Solution Home button was working fine before the repair, even with a severely shattered screen. New ifixit parts went in nice and smooth, everything work now except the home buttons. My digitizer and lcd cables are fully seated (no white lines) and locked down. Any ideas guys? Bad home button on new digitizer. You kinda answered your own question. Either the home button is not aligned properly to the two gold contacts on the charging port home button connector or it’s just faulty....
Chosen Solution I just replaced my Iphone 3gs battery. I put the phone back together the battery was read, and it was at 45%. I plugged it into charge and the battery would not take a charge. The battery is now dead and everytime I plug it in it will start up then immediately power off. Itunes reads the iphone I manged to put it into restore mode, and restore it while dead but that did nothing....
Chosen Solution Seem to have lost some signal strength from Airport Extreme to MacBook Pro (mid 2010). Activity monitor sometimes shows network speeds in bytes. Only Hughesnet available here. Would like to maximize what I have. Where is antenna located in MacBook? Would a metal reflector behind the Airport Extreme help? Is Hughesnet Gen 4 much better than earlier? Have you tried installing a WiFi signal monitoring app like: WiFi Signal....
Chosen Solution I spilled water on my MacBook. Fortunately after a drying and cleaning treatment everything is working again, but some moisture remained behind the retina screen causing bright stains when switched on. Does anybody have a tip? I want to try everything before paying for an expensive new screen. I read that turning both fans to maximum speed for a day or so can make the moisture evaporate, but this post concerned a 2008 “ordinary” macbook screen....

Chosen Solution My UN65KS8000FXZA 4k Samsung TV is just over 3 years old, and is suddenly showing a red tint. It doesn’t cover the entire screen, but leaves a border around the edge that seems intact. It is a lot more prominent during dark scenes, but it is always present. I’ve attached a couple of photos. I have tried messing around with the display settings, but it seems like it’s a hardware problem....
Chosen Solution i replaced a screen on an iPad 3, and now the power, volume, and lock buttons won’t work. I’ll checked and rechecked to see if any of the ribbons were cut in the process and all are still intact. what should I check for next? Even if the flex is not cutted,i would check a new one before try anything else.
