Chosen Solution So my nexus 5 works fine, at times, but somtimes i get a random black screen. The phone is still on, after a few seconds it comes back and its like nothing I presume it is because of the sensor activation. Go to Settings-> Display & Lights. Disable Ambient Display; Double-tap to sleep.
Chosen Solution One main defect was top right side a small crack formed.i want to change receiver .will it give any damage to display.or what should I do.there is no damage to display. So let me get this straight, the handset speaker is not working and the screen and case is not cracked in any way is this correct? I wanted to put a different case on but when I remove it, the top bar, camera cover and bottom bar stayed stuck on the back of my phone. How can I get them off? Chosen Solution My toilet brush handle has a plastic screw socket that is worned out and now the brush piece doesn’t attach properly to the handle. When I google plastic screw socket I don’t get anything close to the white plastic piece embedded in the handle. Can anyone help me with the right term? I want to buy a replacement for the screw to tighten again. Find a nut that fits the screw then make the hole in the handle bigger and place the nut in the handle to fit tight then screw back on to the brush....

Chosen Solution Hi! So i recently got a battery to change the 70% original battery health on my iPhone SE. I am not sure what the problem is, but after connecting the battery and the cables on the logic board (and NOT putting the logic board or battery connector shield or the home button cables, so i did not fully close the phone,because i want to test if the battery works properly and if the phone works properly), powering on the iPhone seems to work properly and the phone works as expected....

Thought that is was a detective replacement and had shipped another one , tried the next replacement and realised that it does the same. Initially I thought that there was a slight chance that I might have damaged the LCD on reassembly but the second one I tried it without putting anything back together and it does the same....
Chosen Solution When I put earbuds in my phone my S4 Mini will turn itself off and attempt to restart itself which it will fail until I unplug my earbuds and remove the battery and put the battery back in and then start it back up without the earbuds plugged in…why is it doing this? Chosen Solution I have a 1988 Chevy k1500 with a 5.7 350, upon first start up you have to have the temp sensor plugged in otherwise it will spit and sputter, and run like crap. After ten minutes or so, you have to unplug the temp sensor, otherwise it will run like crap spitting and sputtering. I have replaced the plugs, knock sensor, the ESC module, both temp sensors, also replaced the tank, sending unit, pump, and fuel filter....
Chosen Solution I have an S7 with no display, it makes noise and you can hear the screen working when you tap it but there isn’t a single pixel lit up, I tried another motherboard on the same screen and its working fine so it isn’t the screen. So it’s something on the motherboard but what would it most likely be? I would first check the LCD FPC connector on the motherboard....

Chosen Solution My MBP Early2015 is the same, the screen is an illegible mess of green horizontal lines. When I plug it into an external monitor, TV or projector both the external monitor AND my internal monitor work perfectly! Screen also runs clean in safe mode. Is this symptomatic of the T-con issue, should I replace display? Thanks. Denny, Your system is very different architecturally than the 2016 models. Yours is a Thunderbolt2 port (using a DisplayPort connection) whereas the 2016 models have a USB-C/Thunderbolt3 port (using a USB-C dongle to HDMI)....
Chosen Solution As people may be aware, the 7T seems to be shipped with a significant amount of of the first few batches having weird green, blue and purple tints on various places on the screen (especially noticeable on lower brightness settings). I was wondering if there would be any ways of fixing this? Has this ever occurred in the past? Can we fix this issue ourselves? I would love to fix this issue myself someday because I hate sending my phone out to other places and i plan to tear it open next year anyways....
Chosen Solution My daughter’s iPhone XR started developing some weird symptoms where without input, it opens up apps, scrolls between screens, etc… After some googling, found that this is referred to as ghost touch or something. Couldn’t find what the fix is to this problem though. I tried resetting the iPhone to factory settings, even tried doing a reset/restore in DFU mode, to no avail. I wanna say this is maybe a hardware issue with the display (digitizer/glass) more so than a software issue....
Chosen Solution Laptop fell from 4 feet. Everything on the outside seems intact. No cracked screen or missing buttons, but now, whenever I turned it on, I can hear the fans whirring for a few seconds before dying down and the screen won’t turn on. It stays black the whole time. What do I do? Your LCD display most likely blacked out. It would need to be replaced then should be good as new as long as no other components were damaged you should be good....

Chosen Solution Got caught in heavy rain with my headphones on and didn’t think much of it bc i’m an idiot. They continued to function without issue for a few days (no problems with playback or bluetooth pairing they honestly seemed fine, they also still work when using the cable for a wired connection) but once the battery started to get low i discovered that they would not charge at all....
Chosen Solution My daughter, unbeLIEVABLY!!, thought she could charge the phone by sticking wires in the charging port while plugged into the wall outlet!! What did she short out and can I fix it!!? There can be a lot of things, ex. U2 IC, charging fuse, charging port, etc. Try to replace the charging port. If that doesn’t work, you probably fried the U2 IC. That needs a lot of microsoldering experience to fix....
