Chosen Solution Hi - As above really…is there any possibility of getting a replacement drive working for a PS4 (CUH-1116A) that does not have its original drive & logic board? Would any of the newer drives which don’t have a logic board work? They are paired with an encryption key. At least for older models as far as I know. Replacement drives will not work without key.

What do you mean when you say “put in logic module” ? you mean you replaced the original logic board with another known working logic board ? And if you have access to a multimeter you can measure it to see if its ok or not

( Something I’ve done quite a few times on J3’s…) it seems to power on, but no screen at all. when plugged in I get the charging chime… I’ve examined the ribbon cables with a magnifying glass, there does not seem to be any damage there. It is an OLED, but is it possible that the cheap OLED’s are taking more battery power than the original screen? How do I fix this I think the phone is so old and cheap parts might not even be available. Your best bet is just to get a new phone. There are brand new phones you can have for around 100-200 dollars that work amazing and do everything a smartphone should....

Chosen Solution So I just replaced the battery in my Samsung Galaxy S10. After installing the new battery and the charging coil, I turned the phone on to confirm it still worked. Everything looked good, I unlocked the phone, made sure the touchscreen worked fine, and turned it back off. Then I glued the backplate back on. I set the phone down with books for an hour to dry like the instructions said, then when I go to turn it on , the screen never turns on....
