Chosen Solution This iPad had a cracked LCD I purchased an assembly and switched it out move the original home button very carefully but like so many others forgot to disconnect the battery. Now the home button works and after an update it no longer gives me an error that it cannot be activated but there is no touch sensing. So when I first put the iPad back together I got the error unable to activate touch ID but now the error doesn’t come up it lets me go to add a fingerprint but it doesn’t detect my finger at all when I touch the button and I cleaned it I read that possibly disconnecting the battery and reconnecting it might help but I doubt that’s what it is....

Chosen Solution Hi everyone, I recently bought a new battery from ifixit, but I think I installed it before the adhesive removal was evaporate. Now, I feel one of the battery is wiggling in my laptop. Is there any recommendation to secure the battery? and can I use 3M double tape? Thanks. Some of 3M’s tape is not designed to span across the uneven surface of the battery so make sure you get one that is on the ticker side....

Chosen Solution Hi, I currently have a 2006 Ford Explorer 4x4 SUV. While I am driving the RPM will fluctuate and the truck will do a weird shimmy. It happens between around 40mph-58ish mph and again between 65-80 mph. I do have a check engine light on. Last time I got it read it was for gas cap and EGR valve. Chosen Solution Two years ago, the rear glass of my iphone smashed. I now use an Otterbox to protect the phone. Wit Otterbox the damage is NOT visible. My issue is that the battery life is now untenable It can’t make it through half the day without the battery running down to 10-20%. Apple says that there is no way to replace the battery because of the rear glass damage and the rear glass cannot be repaired....
