Chosen Solution Hi all, I hope you can help with this. I’ve just replaced my first iPhone 5s screen, turned the device back on and the wallpaper looks fine, camera looks fine, but on the passcode lock screen the edges seem a little faded and black, so the numbers 3 6 9 aren’t 100% visible. I’m waiting for my friend to give me the passcode so i can check the homescreen and some different apps, but does anyone have any idea on why this would happen?...

Chosen Solution Hi - I’ve tried once, and the screen would not adhere permanently. Does anyone have advice on the best steps to ensure the screen stays adhered? I cleaned all surfaces well with alcohol before and it still did not stay adhered. I see there are two adhesive gaskets included with the kit. Should I try to use one - first before the force touch sensor, on the Watch body, then the FT sensor, then another adhesive on top of that?...

Chosen Solution I was unlucky to spill coffee on the keyboard. After drying it a bit the mac boots ok but retina display is very very dark. I can see that it works by using a flashlight and pointing it on apple logo at the back of the screen. I have attached external monitor via HDMI and all good. Apple service suggested to replace screen and motherboard total 1.6K :). Are there any other steps that I should follow to troubleshoot the problem and find the part to be replaced?...

Chosen Solution my s6 got drowned halfway under water. after that phone has locked to overheating state so it wont allow to charge battery. i took the phone to service and they tested the battery and said its fine BUT they said motherboard is faulty. What should i do? i really want to fix this phone. You need to have your phone put up through a water treatment by a reputable repair company....

When a call is received, the accept or decline screen for the call does show and allow for call to be accepted or declined. When holding power button, the pop up showing the power off or restart option shows and allows you to press to power off or restart....

Chosen Solution screen is black, siri comes on but unable to see/ do anything. Your lcd might be broken. You need to replace it if you never see any pictures right from the moment you power on the ipad

Chosen Solution Sony Bravia TV, 60in Since sometime this morning, the screen has begun to periodically go black. It’s like this… Turn tv on, screen/sound works, screen goes black while sound continues, green light starts blinking, screen comes back on, repeat. We tried unplugging, changing display settings, etc etc. Any other advice on how to fix this issue? Angel Outlaw when the screen goes black shine a flashlight beam at an angle against the screen and see if you can still make out the picture....

Chosen Solution the digitizer is working fine i think, the body of the phone is also working, but the actual lcd will not light up. this is why i say “i think”. what can i do? i have the oem screen and the replacement screen, ive tried connecting both, disconnecting the battery, disconnecting what seems to be the board the lcd connectors are on, and disconnecting the battery and plugging in the phone, yet nothing has worked....

Chosen Solution My Macbook Pro screen for seemingly no reason has developed a problem where it will intermittently be covered in vertical lines (see pics). I can fix it temporarily by closing the screen and opening it again but it will soon return. I think it’s a hardware issue because when connected to an external monitor it’s fine. Hi All, I previously posted about Possible faulty cpu temperature sensor spikes but no errors from ASD resulting in kernel task spikes. I thought I had potentially remedied the problem by replacing the HDD data cable as I was getting bad read/write speeds but the issues seems to have comeback. Running the onboard ASD I get three sensor errors: TC0D - SMC IO FailedTC0P - SMC IO FailedTM0P - SMC IO Failed On other times the reading are all at the normal level Which relates to the CPU 0 Die Analog, CPU Proximity and Battery Charger Proximity (which I think the last is the same as the 5/3....

Chosen Solution I plugged my phone on the charger and it died. I think it was shorted. Has anybody have had this problem? if so what part of the phone was damaged? when it comes to mobile phones repair, you must be able to take voltage readings with either opening the phone and using probes or using a usb ampmeter to verify voltages being input to the phone. without these tools, you will never know if it truly is not taking any volatage for charging , if there is a short or anything else....

I just started trying to replace these, so far I’ve done 3 phones and none of them will recognize a sim card. They were physically damaged readers that I replaced, no water damage of any sort. When I take a multimeter to the finished product, everything ohms out the same as a perfectly working sim reader that’s never been replaced....

After disconnecting the battery on the iPhone 4s, the information bar is saying “searching” all the time, even when the SIM card is not in the phone. I have worked on many devices and never seen this problem until IOS6 showed up! After a restore the phone will go from searching to recognizing the SIM, so this seems to fix the problem....

Essentially he was saying was that current tradition computer chips are getting smaller and faster but soon we will hit the limit because as the chips shrink we have to pass less current through them. Chosen Solution I installed a secondary Crucial 525 GB SSD with your “iMac Intel 21.5” Mid 2011 Dual Hard Drive Kit" I did a restore of Time Machine backup onto the new SSD, and made the SSD the boot disk. Now, when I try to turn off the computer, it does all the shutting down show, the screen becomes black, but it does not end the process. Nonetheless the peripherials get disconnected, but if I try to turn on the computer again, it does not turn on....

Chosen Solution I did a screen replacement on the iPhone XS Max. After the screen replacement, the bottom of the screen does not work properly and it seems like it is constantly pressing the keys by itself.Screen; changed with ifixit LCD How can you help? It is most likely a faulty screen but keep in mind that the XS touch connector is located on the bottom board and the CPU and GPU are on the top board....
