Chosen Solution I replaced my battery in December from iFixit. I had followed the battery calibration procedure before using it. But battery has been losing charge pretty quickly. macOS says ‘Service Recommended’. Attaching screenshot of coconutBattery. What could be the issue? Chosen Solution Replaced screen & digitizer darker on left side of screen then right Sometimes just replugging the LCD cable fixes this issue. Push a bit harder than usual after plugging in the LCD cable and try again. it sounds like theres a problem with the backlight circuit, more than likely the backlight driver chip

Chosen Solution I was playing on my game console when my right headphone stopped working, any solutions? @lardman start by trying your headphones on some other piece of quipment to make sure it is a headset issue. After that check the crossover cable from L to R driver and see if it has continuity. If so, you want to check continuity from the connector to the driver. If unsure on how to do that, post some images that show the connector and the drivers (speaker) so we can help you with it....

Hi @printedwaffles , I would use the Google Pixel 2 Motherboard Replacement guide to gain access to the SIM card reader where hopefully you may be able to gently push the broken tray and SIM card back out from the reader, without causing too much damage to the reader pins....

Chosen Solution The fuse box under the hood has a 30 amp fusible link that is blown. I replaced it and blew again, and was told by friend to replace the fuel pump. Engine turned and problem seemed to be solved but happened again when I closed the hood. Found the right turn signal had a blown wire just behind the light. Since the fuse has not blown but I am waiting for it to happen again....

Thank you you need isopropyl alcohol, heat source, and a pry tool. you buy an entire new back cover on ebay for $15, pry up the old one with heat and alcohol, clean the adhesive that’s left on the phone, and adhere the new one down....

Chosen Solution We lost the redirect cover for the exhaust and wanted to order a new one but I can’t seem to find one on any of the diagrams. Hi @prods_6822 , It doesn’t seem to be in the parts list. You may have to contact them and ask If you have the GXV160, I think it is there, but you have to buy the whole guard and redirect together. The diagram here for the 140 does not have a part number shown, but the 160 diagram shows “330H-0340 General Equipment GUARD, MUFFLER (MODIFIED)”....

Chosen Solution can keyboard of ROG GL551J be opened? You can literally unplug and plug in cables and slot in parts. That is all there is to disassembling and assembling a keyboard. The catch is that you have to know where everything goes. You can easily learn how to do that by watching YouTube videos. There are many comprehensive videos there. If you are making the first disassembly or repair, you need to pay attention to basic safety precautions....

The PS4 controller that I’ve had since I originally got the console gave up on me back in late 2020/early 2021 and being one to not back down from trying my hand at repairing it, I decided to give it a go....
