Sorry if my story would be a bit too long. First, the cord near magsafe plug deteriorated, started to be hot and finallly plummeted. Since it is hard to buy original power adapter where I live I went to aftermarket and got a decent quality replica adapter that made my trackpad act erratically so I just cut the cords and soldered back the original adapter and a magsafe replica cord....

If I push down on this corner it can flex slightly back into a more appropriate position. Chosen Solution how do I fix USB ports? @swooptheroad assuming that all your software is properly set etc., then the USB ports not working is most commonly an issue with your Logic Board. It could be the USB power IC or others. You would have to have the power tools and skills to diagnose and repair failure like that. Chosen Solution MacBook Pro 13" 09 Mid all white I charged my mac the other after buying a 60watt magsafe adapter. It went from green( unplugged to mac) orange when magsafe was plugged in. Chosen Solution In response to my Apple Thunderbolt monitor going on the blink, I purchased a male/male thunderbolt 2 cable. Everything worked fine for a couple of weeks and then a few of the old issues peeped up again, including a slow and sometimes fussy (ie: LAN shutting off) internet connection. Problem: I will be listening to music with my airpods’ battery in the 90s. And suddenly one of them (and some times both) will stop working. This happened in intervals varying from 3 minutes to 10.
