Chosen Solution Is there any way the phone will work with out the #3 connector? The cable is fine, and I had to replace the screen, but I broke white connector in the process. Any help would be great. The connector/ribbon cable #3 controls the ear piece and proximity sensor. The ear piece won’t output sound but you should get sounds from the speaker on the bottom of the phone. The proximity sensor senses when the phone is next to your head and it dims the screen to save battery life....

Chosen Solution Hi! I’ve tried cleaning the contacts (only by removing the key cover) with Caig DeOxit several times but to no avail. Is this a dirty contact that must be cleaned by full disassembly? Any ideas? Thank you very much! Collin Hi! When the key cover is off, and you press down on the bouncy piece in the center of the key, does that work? If so, it’s a mechanical issue that may require you replace the plastic scissor contraption under the cover (you can get these and keys themselves on eBay for a few dollars), and if not, likely an electrical trace on the keyboard has been crimped/cut/etc....

Chosen Solution cables 1 & 2 will not stay down That is one of the many Design Flaws in the 3G/S models that i notice regularly. A simple fix to this issue is to use something to hold those connections down. I personally use Anti-Static Kapton Tape (a specially designed tape to withstand high temperatures and create low static interference). You can find a link to the website here. You can also try using Electrical Tape, however i find that Kapton has a stronger and more reliable adhesive....

Chosen Solution Melitta Caffeo Solo (late 2020 model). Was working perfectly until a few days ago when the ‘Air in the system’ icon appeared on the display. I checked the manual and pressed the bean button (coffee strength) to purge air from the system. The pump runs for about a minute and when the process completes, the icon remains illuminated. I followed this same procedure multiple times but the drip tray just fills with clean water....

Chosen Solution I had a customer bring in a water damaged macbook pro and I told them the water damage had corroded a component on the logic board. I don’t think they want the device anymore so I was going to attempt to replace this component if possible, but I dont know what it is or have any diagrams or schematics. The component says “KNP” vertically and “AO” horizontally. :)...

Chosen Solution The power button of my X-M1 powers “on” the device, but it doesn’t stay “on”. It goes automatically to “off” after few seconds. If I put the button between the position “on” and “off”, sometimes the camera stays “on” and I can take many pictures. When this occurs, the camera seems to work perfectly. Chosen Solution I replaced the logic board on my 13" macbook air 2017 and was extremely excited it worked. Used it some, set it down, didnt touch it for 24 hours, came out to use it this morning, and it wont boot. Charging fine, light goes green then orange for charging and stays lit. I took the case back off and checked every connection, focused specifically on the i/o board and the power connectors to the screen....

The screen also is recognizing touches, because I can unlock it and hear the clicking when I select icons I can’t see. But the LCD won’t light up. Nothing is loose. Nothing is broken. Chosen Solution can you replace just the glass on the apple watch series 3 42mm watch and not have to replace the whole digitizer The apple watch is not made to be taken apart and repaired. If you take it apart it loses its water resistant seal. If you find parts they are going to be not cheap. Then we get to glue and clamp the watch back together. Super glue and silicone....

Chosen Solution A hacker was able to access the WPS pin for my Samsung XPress C1860FW, connect it to a remote network and denied me permissions to reconnect and print either offline or online. Now, I cannot access the LDC touch display because I do not have permission. I paid a network specialist but he was unable to reset the WPS pin. Chosen Solution Screen keep pressing on a middle vertical line after screen replacement. Previusly the screen wasn’t responding in the same area, then i tried to clean the pin with alcool and now it keep pressing. Aggiorna (07/07/2020) Update: now it simply do not work on the same vertical area. Sometimes dust and debris can get into the heat shield (the metal plate) behind the LCD assembly. I would take the LCD assembly apart and clean the Heat shield with compressed air/ alcohol....

Chosen Solution Dropped my S7. No cracks, not broken. No purple blotches, ink spots or linear patterns visible. Screen is completely dark. Phone makes all sounds such as powering on and off, notifications, system sounds, app and key strokes too. But screen shows no signs not even the slightest flicker. Already have the back off, and the hinges unscrewed, and realized there wasn’t a guide for this model....
