Chosen Solution Hi everyone. Many thanks to this website for providing the solution to my mid 2010 15” MacBook Pro kernel issues. Here’s my dilemma. I have a 2008 17” MacBook Pro I’m trying to use to salvage the C7771/9560 capacitor to put in my 15”. The board is listed as 820-2262-A, serial W8812002422 YA. Cannot identify the capacitor I need and it’s not printed on the board. Does anyone have any idea what it’s listed as on the board?...

Chosen Solution My white Samsung S6 Edge sim holder slot is broken inside, i dont know how to fix it. Besides that, there is zero search to look up sim holder slot in ebay or amazon. Is any way that it can be fixed? Depends on how they designed the s6 Edge. The older Galaxy phones had removable boards for the sim tray but they also have had models were it is directly soldered on the main board....

Chosen Solution Can i use 3rd party wireless adapter with Xbox 360, or it’s only works with original Microsoft adapter (which is cost a fortune) ? I believe they exist, but you need one that says it’s compatible with the 360. I’ll see if i can find you a link for one. You can also use your laptop as a “wireless” card, all be it a large one, by connecting your Ethernet cable tween the two and bridging the wired/wireless connection on the PC....

Chosen Solution Want to change the fuel filter but don’t know where it is. It’s a non-serviceable item for the 98-02 4 cyl. So there’s just the strainer in the tank. Not exactly “non-servicable” but there IS NO filter in 1998-2002 Accord in USA. Only the strainer in the fuel tank which you don’t routinely replace. The only time you should consider replacing the strainer is if you actually measure low fuel pressure at the fuel rail....

Chosen Solution Will I be able to put 8GB RAM in my machine (currently has 4GB from the factory). Will the existing 4GB be on one chip? Can I just add one new 4GB chip? Thanks You can find out wether or not the RAM is all on one chip by clicking the apple sign at the far top left hand side of the menu bar, a drop-down menu will appear, click “About This Mac”....

Chosen Solution How do I override this? I can help you out. I would really appreciate it if you could prove ownership to me first. I have no doubt you are the rightful owner but I don’t want to be an accomplice to a crime ;) Edit: Sorry thought this was in the Mac section, I can bypass/change Admin password on Macs (OS X) very easily. I can still help out with this Dell, would need to know your specific operating system....

Chosen Solution My Samsung Galaxy A70(yes I did not find a70 in the list) had problems with its power button, so I looked up how I could start it without it. If your device is frozen and unresponsive, press and hold the Power button and the Volume button down simultaneously for more than 7 seconds to restart it....

Chosen Solution Hello, I recently came into possession of an Emerson EWC 1301 TV which a friend was discarding. It turns on for about 1-2 seconds and then turns off but seems to be working perfectly for that time. I opened it up and after safely discharging it I disassembled it and checked the board for any component damage visually. The capacitors show no visual sign of damage and the fuse seemed good, so I reassembled it and the problem persisted (at least I didn’t make it worse lol)....

Chosen Solution Replaced a broken (but functional) screen with a replacement screen. Followed all the steps and everything was fine. When I powered on the phone I realized the backlight comes on but the screen does not display anything. I have tried a Hard Reset as well and still nothing? Are you sure that you disconnected the battery before you unplugged/removed the screen? Usually when an iPhone doesn’t display anything but a white screen that means the screen was removed without disconnecting the battery first....

Chosen Solution i dont know the password for the computer and i was wondering if theres a way i can reset it so i can get back into the computer?? Mason, If your computer has a CD Drive then download Windows Offline NT from here: Offline NT and then use this guide: NT Guide to remove the password from the user account. this can also be done using a USB Flashdrive instead of a CD....

Chosen Solution So, I have a VW Passat B6 2007. My rear right side tail light, day time running light stays on for a few seconds before it turns off. Now I don’t find the solution, and trust me I have tried. When turned on it starts to blink and then it turns off, I tried to put 12V directly on to the light and it worked perfectly. Please Help...

Chosen Solution Sad Mac face when hooking up external hard drive. Any suggestions??? First let’s identify your exact machine. Have you disconnected the external drive and tried it? What operating system are you running? Original Mac OS: 6.0.7 Supported Mac OS: 6.0.7-7.5.1, 7.5.3-7.5.5 I assume that you hooked up and external SCSI drive, if the OS was greater than 7.5.5, it would probably produce a Sad Mac face. There were size limitations on hard drives....

Chosen Solution My Samsung washer wf45k6200aw/a2 front loader stops during wash cyle. I don’t get an error code, just what I call the 4 circles of death. The display just shows four spinning lines. I did get a code and replaced te motor stator, and inverter board assembly, but it still stops during wash cycle. Water pressure is fine. Few things to check/try Plug the power cord into a live electrical outlet....

Chosen Solution got it unlocked after entering in wrong puk codes but now it says no sim mode….how do i get past this? i cant send or get texts or calls only emergencey calls Power off phone, take out the SIM and clean the contacts on the SIM with a pencil eraser and reinstall. Also try a different SIM or the SIM in another phone. It may be faulty

Chosen Solution I purchased battery, screen, & touch gasket from Ifixit. I followed the tutorials to change the battery, but I broke the original screen. Watch continued to work fine with the cracked screen, but I decided to replace the screen and gasket. After 1st attempt I had black screen but haptics worked. After trying to fix the black screen, I now have no screen, no haptics, & no response from a reset or charging....

Chosen Solution When I try to turn the calculator on the screen flashes from solid black to normal but the calculator will not function because of this. Some more information would be appreciated. Do you mean that the cursor still flashes but none of the buttons work? You may want to try replacing the batteries including the backup battery with fresh ones. If you get a constant, solid black screen when you turn it back on, press [2nd] then release it, then hold the down arrow key until the contrast is where you want it....

Chosen Solution My Nexus 5 screen went black the other day, the backlight is on and the phone works but I just get a black screen. I tapped it on the back and the screen came back but then the digitiser didn’t work. Tapped it again and then it worked perfectly but half an hour later black screen again. Ordered a replacement screen but the same thing happens, I noticed that if i tap the motherboard this temporarily fixes it giving me the impression that there is something wrong with it....

Chosen Solution The usb sockets on the right side of my laptop don’t work right. If I’ve something plugged in either usbs on the right side only they stop working/disconnect If it’s a mouse I hear the same sound as I’d hear if I were to unplug it. Then it will stop working. 2 seconds later if I stop touching it I’ll hear the sound that happens when I connect it and it works again I don’t really wanna strip it down till I know more about it....
