The replacement procedure varies from controller to controller. That said, I’ve found the Model 1537, 1697, and 1708 are the common controllers used by the most amount of people. As such, my advice will be tuned to these 3 controllers....

Chosen Solution A few days ago i plugged in a faulty device into the right USB port of my 2 year old ‘Lenovo Thinkpad Yoga’. Afterwards the whole Laptop was without function. After disassambling the back, removing the battery cable and the bios battery, it rebooted but the USB port stayed without funktion. Try reseating the connections to the display and see if anything changes. If nothing changes, try your old screen. If your old screen works, it might just be a defective new screen....
Chosen Solution Hello. I replaced the screen on iPhone se with an ifixit screen. The screen is now ’erratic’. sometimes slow to respond to taps, sometimes swipes are interpreted as swipes, etc. What could be wrong? Is the frame dented in the corners? A squished in screen can cause ghost touch issues as the screen glass is flexed.
Chosen Solution So basically i did a repair for my right speaker which was rattling. The screen was never an issue but when i finish the repair from the guide on this site. I now have black and white screen with vertical bars and double images. A couple of things i did was triple check everything made sure nothing was out of place. I also replace the display lvds cable that didn’t help either....
Chosen Solution I have replaced a client’s iPad air glass/digitizer with a new one and it tested fine before closing up. Once the internal protective sheet and adhesive were removed and the glass pressed down, the screen takes on a life of its own. I have since tried another glass panel and had the same issues. This time I was able to narrow down the cause to the upper folded ribbon for the touch interface (you will recall there are three ribbons and two plugs, the top one is the culprit)....

Chosen Solution i left my phone for a few minutes on the sofa and then when i come back the screen shows everything doubled. Steps power off button on the phone, press it check the pop up on the screen (power off, restart, airplane mode, silent mode, VR mode) Tap on the VR mode. Bingo! problem solved. When you press switch off button… one extra message is displayed i.e. “VR Mode is ON”…....

Chosen Solution My MacBook Pro has been experiencing a number of strange issues. As soon as its disconnected from the power adapter it shuts down. I’ve tried cleaning the contacts and checking the pins. The machine will then not restart, even though the battery read 99% at the tie of shutdown, until the power adapter is reconnected, at which point it will restart automatically. Usually, but not always, it will show the Prohibitory Symbol....
