Chosen Solution My unit will give a “? in a folder” symbol at startup. Removed and connected hard drive externally and unit boots up and operates fine. Ordered and installed a new cable that connects hard drive to logic board. Same problem; “? in a folder symbol”. Ran hardware test on startup and it is OK. Need some help please. Your systems PRAM setting is messed up! So your system doesn’t know which port your boot drive is located....

Chosen Solution We have a Kenmore Elite 795.71042.010 (8 years old) that stopped cooling and doesn’t seem to get any colder than 60 or so. We have cleaned the coils and vents under the unit. The compressor is running and the cooling fan for the coils is free flowing and running. Inside the unit there seems to be air flow in both the refrigerator section and the freezer, it just isn’t cooling....

Chosen Solution Hi! So, my frigidaire refrigerator stopped working earlier in the week. It’s a Gallery with the fridge up top and the freezer below. I did a bunch of troubleshooting and found that the evaporator fan behind the back panel in the freezer was not running. I ordered a new one and installed it last night. Right away, I could hear it running and feel it getting cool. This morning the freezer was a proper 0 degrees, but the fridge was not cooling....

Chosen Solution Our garage refrigerator (Kenmore with the freezer on the bottom) started not cooling in late July. The lights kept working & the freezer kept working, but the top part (the refrigerator section) stopped cooling and the temp adjustment buttons stopped working for the refrigerator section too. We unplugged it for 24 hours & when we plugged it back in, it started working just fine again… until about 2 weeks later when it happened again....

Can I use it? Thanks Without knowing more, I’d say not to use it. That particular rating may be required for the proper operation of the magnetron (the thing that generates the microwaves). GE should be able to get you the right part....

Chosen Solution I have a Samsung UN55ES7500F smart TV. Over the past couple of months it has started cutting off and back on on its own. Every time it does so, it is preceded by a couple seconds of a screen glitch for a few seconds, usually colored lines or a solid color. It then cuts off and cuts back on and the screen is fine. I start the washer, light on Sensing turns on and drum spins very slowly 2-3 cycles before it goes to Wash cycle but immediately stops and returns to sensing. It sounds like the pump may have a damaged impeller or pump housing is damaged. The pump housing and/or the seals could also deteriorate or become damaged, causing the dishwasher to leak.
