Chosen Solution Hello, I have recently recieved my mum’s old OPPO A73 and when trying to put my SIM card in I have accidently put my OPPO A83’s SIM card tray into my mum’s OPPO A73! The key wouldn’t work and I have used tool kit to try and pop the cover off but that wouldn’t work and I’m afraid it might damage the tray. Disassemble and push thru the housing worked for some devices that open from the front....

Chosen Solution i need help fixing my flat screen its picture is sometimes black or green or purple it even is upside down and backwards but other times it will work for an hour than go back to not working sound works great though. any suggestions?? There are a number of possibilities. The most likely is a loose connector within the television housing if it’s under 3 years old. If older than that, there are a couple of connectors that are famous for aging and cracking at the solder joints....
Chosen Solution I got stuck with a board 820-2330 no water damage, no visual damaged components, excellent physical condition. Did not have green light, PP3V42_G3H was shorted. The problem was U5727 which I replaced. Got the PP3V42_G3H back and green light on, but still not turning on. PPBUS_G3H was present, PP3V3_S5 was present but PP5V_S3 was missing. So I decided to replace U7201. After that, I lost the green light even when PP3V42_G3H was still present, PP5V_S3 was still missing and on top of that I lost PPBUS_G3H /not completely but it’s only 1....
Chosen Solution Does anyone know the screw size of the Galaxy A50 or A30? I am aware that the length is 4mm on both of them for the midframe however I am unsure of the head size (eg M1.0 or M1.2). If anybody knows the size it would be much appreciated as I am repairing an a50 with no midframe screws. I’m not sure if anyone measured the thread specifications because all those screws are so small it’s difficult to put a thread gauge on....

In my experience, if replacing your DC-In Jack did not resolve your issues, there is most likely an issue with your machines motherboard, or battery. In most cases, it may not be worth putting a lot more effort into fixing this issue, as the motherboard generally outweighs the cost of a new machine entirely....

Chosen Solution These lines show up for about 20 min then go away any idea what the problem is May be a loose connection where when warmed up expansion occurs to create better contact. @jmcubean could be an issue with bad caps or bad solder connections. Post some images of your boards with your question so that we can see what you see. Also, if you can post some images of what your panel first displays....
Chosen Solution I used the wrong power adapter to my DJ controller so when I switched it on there was a pop and some crackle. I quickly turned it off but a burnt smell followed. I plugged it into my mac with a usb and it does switch on, but does not function. I have opened it and tried looking for anything that looks odd. Having not looked inside very many electronic units before the only thing I could find was what I have marked with red on the attached photos....

Chosen Solution It started with screen flickering then it went black. Shining a light through the apple logo, I found that the screen is working fine. The logic board was tested onto another screen and it worked fine, similarly another working logic board on my screen gave the same dead backlight. It cannot be the WLED driver nor the fuse issue since the logic board is working fine. Now I can not find a clear fix for this, can anyone guide in the right direction....
Chosen Solution My Pixel XL has developed a bit of a beer belly. The screen is bulging out 1-2mm in the mid-section of the phone. The top and bottom are still firmly affixed. Can the screen just be pressed back down in place or does it need to come off and be replaced? Also, is the bulging a sign of a damaged battery? Probably a swollen battery is pushing the screen away from the casing....
Chosen Solution Hi all, Screen suddenly went dark while computer was in use. Backlight and keyboard light are working fine. Reset NVRAM and SMC, no luck. Reseated LCD cable on logic board side. Hooked up to external monitor, all seems fine through external display. Display came back slowly after cable reseating (going to patchy white, then suddenly all there), and for a few days would sometimes revert to patchiness before coming back....
